"Being a photographer is a way of life. I never stop seeing, observing, or appreciating the way things are. Taking a photograph is a chance to preserve a moment, or even extrapolate or emphasize one aspect of a moment. I love being a professional photographer because I learn so much with each click of the shutter. As I loan my eye and technical skill to clients' visions, I learn new ways to see the world because I make their moment—or message, or even themselves—visible. I love the creative process, and, because of my contagious passion, my clients love it too." –MC
